Moving with Time will lit the campfire at Dansens Hus’s Black Box on Saturday, October 31, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Joining the discussion will be three artists that are relevant right now: Norwegian-Jamaican performer and choreographer Harald Beharie has finalized his Trilogy, that will visit in Kanal Centre Pompidou Brussels, Finnish dance artist and choreographer Elina Pirinen, who visits Dansens Hus with her international co-production, and Swedish choreographer Efva Lilja, who celebrates 50 years’ career in arts. 

Moving with Time brings together artists and the audience around a shared campfire to share the life stories of dance creators representing different generations and to discuss education, careers, challenges, successes, and legacy. The event is curated by Virve Sutinen and Sanna Rekola. 

Ars Navitas, in collaboration with Nordic partners, is organizing a series of events in 2026–2027. The next gathering around the campfire will take place in February in Helsinki.
